In 2022, I was deeply inspired by hybrid beings, a link between contemporary digital fabrication and mythological characters. When I was invited to write a chapter for Beauty and Monstrosity in Art and Culture, I was experimenting with generative imaging models and outputting a latent space walk. I liked the unexpectedness of the resulting creature and the anterior-posterior ambiguity.
